OPWDD Direct Support Professional

OPWDD stands for Office for People with Developmental Disabilities. Under the supervision of an OPWDD Waiver Service Supervisor, DSP’s will provide care and support to individuals and families. Services provided include Respite Care and Community Habilitation. This position is a part time/ per diem position.


CFTSS Waiver Service Provider

CFTSS stands for Children and Family Treatment and Support Services. Under the supervision of a CFTSS Waiver Supervisor, CFTSS workers provide care and support to children/youth and families. Services provided include Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Community Psychiatric Supports and Treatment (applicants that qualify must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and two plus years of related experience), other licensed professionals (applicants must qualify as a Licensed Behavioral Health Practitioner to provide this service under CFTSS).


HCBS Waiver Service Provider

HCBS stands for Home and Community Based Services. Under the supervision of a HCBS Waiver Supervisor, HCBS workers provide care and support to children/youth and families. Services provided include Palliative Care (Expressive Therapy and Bereavement Service), Community Self-Advocacy Training and Supports, Supported Employment, Prevocational Services, Planned Respite/Crisis Respite, Caregiver/Family Supports and Services, Day Habilitation and Community Habilitation. Palliative Care services require an advanced degree (Bereavement Therapy under PC requires a certification in providing this form of intervention as well as a license within the healing arts), CSATS requires a Bachelors degree in education or in the human services field plus one year of experience that is related to the healing of the arts. SES requires an associate degree in the field of healing of the arts and human services experience, preferred qualifications are a Bachelors degree with one year of work experience in human services and working with children/youth. PVS requires an associate degree in the field of healing of the arts and human services experience, preferred qualifications of a Bachelors degree with one year of work experience in human services and working with children/youth. Day and Community Habilitation Providers must have appropriate license, certification, and/or approval in accordance with State requirements. Art Therapy requires a certification in providing this form of intervention as well as a license within the healing of the arts.
